Job summary

Banana Republic in Tucson seeks an Assistant Manager to lead the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will execute store strategy with the General Manager and coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You will work with the GM to recruit and develop staff, manage assigned areas, and ensure brand standards, compliance, and community involvement are prioritized to achieve

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.
• Willing to coach and mentor others to grow.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and profitability.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility within the store.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties as needed.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel experiences.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
