Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to labor laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for counseling or termination.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and events to ensure safety and policies.
• Ensures proper opening and closing of the store; opens/closes at least 2 times per week.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify trends, profitability, and inventory issues.
• Orders to meet in-stock targets; reviews ordering plan and cycle counts.
• Facilitates staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise following company processes.
• Ensures merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage meet standards.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels and cash control procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership and a safe environment.
