Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead store operations, manage staff, ensure product quality and food safety, and maintain optimal inventory levels. You will drive sales and profitability while upholding company standards and customer engagement across shifts.

The role requires interview, hire, train, and develop partners, schedule and direct work, and resolve issues to deliver a high level of service. Strong knowledge of budget, P&L, and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Associates degree in related field and four+ years of related experience.
• HIPAA certification required.
• TABC/LACT/AATC certification where applicable.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• AML certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops partners; plans, assigns and directs work; evaluates performance and motivates staff; handles complaints and resolves problems.
• Reviews historical data to forecast store sales from ads and promotions; manages inventory to keep in-stock levels.
• Monitors budget, expenses and profitability; analyzes P&L, shrink, labor and gross margin; reports to upper management.
• Directs store operations and controls operating expenses to maximize cash flow and net profit.
• Maintains sales performance, customer engagement and adherence to company standards; enforces merchandising and category promotions.
• Performs store inspections and enforces quality control and food safety standards.
