Job summary

Foot Locker in Riverdale, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will energize the floor, drive sales, and coach a diverse team. The ASM supports the Store Manager to deliver a great customer experience and execution of store priorities.

You will lead with ownership, show urgency, and maintain standards while leveraging retail technology to enhance operations and team performance.

Qualifications

1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for customers.
Coach the team to deliver excellent service and product knowledge.
Help the store meet sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and assisting with customer follow-up.
Support daily store operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
Maintain store standards, safety, and loss prevention procedures.
Provide leadership as Manager on Duty when scheduled and assist with hiring and training.
