Job summary

Bath & Body Works in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver consistent customer experiences, and drive growth across the store.

As a store leader, you’ll recruit and develop talent, set clear performance expectations, manage daily operations, and execute strategic floor sets that bring the product story to life while maintaining excellent payroll and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication and coaching skills.
• Availability for peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the Store Manager including acting as Manager on Duty to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpretation of company directives.
• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and a selling focus.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and product knowledge.
• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
