Job summary

Bath & Body Works in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, develop outstanding associates, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will help drive growth, lead store teams, and ensure operations run smoothly in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coach teams, maintain selling standards, meet payroll targets, and safeguard safety and brand standards while delivering consistent results for our customers and business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates.
• Leadership tasks including acting as Manager on Duty to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results.
• Implement and sustain floorset direction to bring the product story to life.
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits and shipments.
