Job summary

Calculated Hire is seeking a Store Leader to oversee daily operations, coaching and developing store associates to achieve sales and profit targets. You will drive merchandising initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while upholding company values of respect, integrity, and safety.

You will collaborate with district leadership to execute plans, optimize staffing, and foster community relationships, all while ensuring a customer-ready store every day in Bloomington, IN.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years as assistant store leader or equivalent, with satisfactory performance.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience overseeing budgets and financial responsibilities.
• 3+ years of retail experience and leadership essentials program completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store teams in planning, implementation and execution of merchandising and operation initiatives to make the store customer ready daily.
• Collaborate with store leaders and staff to identify opportunities, develop solutions and create action plans.
• Achieve and exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets and goals.
• Drive cost-effective sales by optimizing labor costs and store department contributions.
• Discuss store financials, budgets, shrink, and safety targets with leadership teams.
• Understand competitive landscape within the district and store; adapt strategies accordingly.
• Promote inclusive leadership and set expectations for inclusive behavior across teams.
• Coordinate with field Merchandising teams to execute division marketing plans.
• Build relationships with local community organizations served by the store.
• Engage with union officials if a collective bargaining agreement covers the store.
