Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail management experience required - store manager experience preferred.
• Sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation and loss prevention.
• Experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, training and development.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills.
• Exceptional team and collaboration skills.
• PC Skills: POS Systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by delivering exceptional consumer experiences that are engaging, efficient, and personalized.
• Translate the Carhartt story at the retail store level by executing on consumer experience program initiatives, Visual Merchandising and Visual Standards.
• Lead Associate Engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative team environment where associates can bring their best to work each day.
• Develop, train, coach and provide feedback to all leaders and associates utilizing performance and talent management tools.
• Analyze local market trends and data related to operations, product mix, competition, wages and events.
• Develop and execute revenue-building strategies to meet or exceed store sales goals and metrics.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure timely execution of store controls, policies, and profitability while maintaining safety.
• Develop external partnerships to benefit the store and community.
• Engage with local community and encourage associates to contribute to brand awareness through events and volunteering.
• Develop proactive recruitment strategies to maintain year-round staffing levels.
• Utilize talent identification processes to build a strong internal bench and succession pathways.
• Own individual development and professional growth for team members
