Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform cash register functions and generate reports.
• Knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies and practices.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training of employees.
• Manage merchandise through receiving, stocking, restocking and displays.
• Maintain inventory levels by controlling damages and markdowns.
• Implement and maintain planograms; ensure proper product presentation.
• Ensure cash handling integrity, deposits, refunds, and cash controls.
• Support store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
