Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Louisiana to support the Store Manager with daily operations, staff supervision, and merchandising. You will help maintain a clean, customer-first store, oversee deposits, and ensure adherence to policies while maximizing profitability.

The role involves cashiering, stocking, inventory control, and employee coaching, with responsibility in absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment.
• Six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cash register to itemize purchases.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow processes to manage merchandise including receiving, stocking, displaying, and restocking.
