Job summary

The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and ability to follow planograms; candidates with supervisory experience and math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and cashier accountability.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and give change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; clean and organize stockroom and restrooms.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Sales Associate in the Store Manager's absence.
