Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Lenoir, North Carolina location. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well organized and displayed.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, following corporate directives, and aiding in payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior store management experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
