Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the store floor with energy and ownership, driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will coach the team, manage daily operations, and ensure standards are upheld to protect customers and products.

The role emphasizes leadership on the floor, coaching, and ownership of store execution, with a focus on contributing to community engagement and brand culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience in a leadership or key holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy and solutions for every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Ensure store is organized, customer-ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers and staff.
• Take ownership of store execution and drive with an owner/operator mindset.
• Leverage retail technology to enhance customer experience and support operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, providing leadership and direction.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of associates.
