Shoe Carnival is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Worth, TX. In this full-time role, you will help oversee daily store operations, support the team, and act as a key holder to open/close the store while driving a customer-first environment.

You will lead service efforts, train associates, manage tasks, and contribute to loss prevention and store presentation. Prior supervisory retail experience is a plus, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail or customer service experience
• Strong communication and leadership
• Store/key holder experience is a plus
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as a key holder
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation
• Perform register overrides, cash reconciliation and till counts
• Follow and promote loss prevention procedures
