Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking an on-site Cashier/Stocker lead who can act in the absence of store management, set plan-o-grams, and ensure excellent customer service. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, secure store while protecting assets and reducing losses.

This role requires basic math, cash handling knowledge, and strong communication skills. Experience in retail or supervisory support is preferred, and relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store process.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Assist customers by locating items.
• Operate cash register and handle payments.
• Maintain clean store and safety standards.
• Open/close the store under Area Manager direction.
