Job summary

Huck’s Market Senior Associate is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the shift, within company policy, to ensure profitability and assist the manager. The role offers a path to store management upon training, with relocation opportunities negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Gives all customers prompt and courteous service, which includes greeting customers and adhering to Best In Class standards.
• Observes shift operating hours as assigned by the Store Manager and helps fill shifts.
• Work the store manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week to cover peak hours.
• Performs tasks as assigned by the Store Manager and communicates with store associates and management.
• Follows all laws and ordinances pertaining to store operation and provides a role model for associates.
• Ensures proper uniform and prompt, courteous customer service.
• Completes a shift change report and records hours worked by clocking in/out.
• Rings sales accurately and records all over rings and refunds; completes daily deposits as directed.
• Treats all associates with dignity and respect and informs manager of personnel issues affecting performance.
• Maintains safe shopping and working environment and secure handling of cash and merchandise.
