Job summary

Men's Wearhouse is seeking a Store Lead to partner with the Store Manager to coach a sales team, drive performance, and ensure operational excellence on duty. The role includes opening/closing responsibilities and managing store keys as the manager on duty.

You will lead customer-focused initiatives, recruit and develop staff, and promote an inclusive, high-performing store environment while delivering strong sales results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Retail or Sales experience.
• Creative individual who demonstrates good judgement and is tuned-into the pulse of the business.
• Self-motivated, results oriented, strategic thinker.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams.
• Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
• Ability to operate a computer and POS System.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff to achieve sales, service, and operational expectations when assigned as the manager on duty.
• Act as an active coach, modeling company values and communicating priorities to maximize business.
• Assist in recruiting store staff and fostering an inclusive store environment.
• Support the management team in achieving store business plans and performance goals.
• Leverage store reports to understand decisions and drive the store business.
• Provide training on internal operational functions and ensure adherence to directives.
• Drive customer experience excellence and maintain brand standards in visual setup and marketing initiatives.
