Job summary

Shoe Station is seeking a Store Lead to oversee a store area and drive leadership and customer service excellence. This role focuses on department leadership, team guidance, and operational accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Store Lead will supervise daily activities, promote sales, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience while growing into higher management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example.
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling.
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department (Women’s, Men’s or Children’s) and support store standards.
• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling.
• Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed.
• Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves.
• Promote current sales and programs.
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team.
