Job summary

J.Crew Group is hiring an Assistant Manager for a new J.Crew Factory store in Chula Vista, CA. You’ll be part of the leadership team driving profitability through customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement.

You will coach the sales team, support Store Director, and collaborate to ensure smooth operations, with flexibility for various roles on the sales floor and weekend/holiday schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results with brand alignment and profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while maintaining accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Lead sessions to boost product knowledge and customer connection.
