Qualifications

• Ability to follow company customer service procedures.
• Demonstrated prior customer service skills or related experience.
• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of all positions within the store.
• Ability to work independently.
• Desired: Prior experience as a clerk or manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service as defined by the employer within policy.
• Supervise store personnel and handle emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain familiarity with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise the sales floor and replenish stock.
• Assist in keeping a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist cashiers with register and scanner issues.
• Perform basic office functions to assist customers and staff.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments and change.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with carry out.
• May perform close of day tasks and count tills.
• Other duties as assigned.
