Job summary

Knitwell Group, presented at Soma stores in Sioux Falls, seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team, delivering a welcoming customer experience, and driving brand standards.

You will hire, coach, and develop associates, maintain visual standards, manage inventory, and participate in community events and omnichannel initiatives to create memorable, personalized experiences.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve store financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and share product knowledge.
• Maintain an inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Oversee inventory and daily replenishment; support inventories.
• Ensure compliance with policies and business practices.
