Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Brunswick, GA to support a customer-first store environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise, and assist customers.
• Follow processes to receive, unpack, stock, rotate, and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; maintain restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager; act in leadership in their absence.
