Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Tennessee to uphold a clean, customer-first store environment. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and support store leadership.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and supervisory experience. You may open/close the store and take on duties in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform cash handling procedures and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and greet/assist customers.
• Operate cash register, process payments, bag merchandise and assist customers.
• Stock merchandise, rotate stock, and build displays per planograms.
• Clean store, manage trash, mop floors, and prep sidewalk displays.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
