Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, guide associates, and help maintain clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and prior store leadership experience. This is a full-time on-site position in Texas with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and tolerate frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and ensure store assets are secure.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping, and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment and ensure policies are followed.
• This role includes other duties assigned by the store leadership.
