Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, customer service and team development in Center, Texas. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and maintain store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Support loss prevention and protect company assets.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
