Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will mentor a team of baristas, coach performance, and ensure smooth service from opening to closing.

You will drive sales through coaching, maintain safety standards, and manage merchandising to showcase our premium coffee and tea. Many CBTL leaders started as Baristas, and we value passion, teamwork, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and mentor Baristas.
• Knowledge of safety and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and coach the team to improve sales and service.
• Develop barista knowledge of coffee and tea.
• Drive new guest acquisition and community engagement.
• Maintain safe store environment and healthy staff.
• Support GM in profitable store operations and growth.
