Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a busy cafe and deliver exceptional guest service. You will mentor baristas, share coffee and tea expertise, and help create memorable experiences for customers in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the General Manager to drive sales, ensure safety and quality, and oversee day-to-day operations while helping recruit and develop local talent for a growing team.

Qualifications

• Lead by example and drive sales through coaching and training.
• Be a coffee and tea expert and share knowledge with team and guests.
• Generate new guests and strengthen store relationships.
• Maintain a safe store environment for employees and guests.
• Assist the General Manager to manage a profitable store and support growth.
• Be creative with visual merchandising and product placement.
• Act as the store face and engage with the local community.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and coach the team to deliver outstanding service.
• Be a coffee and tea expert; train staff and educate guests.
• Drive guest acquisition and online engagement while serving in-store.
• Ensure safety and a clean, compliant work environment.
• Support GM with daily operations, inventory, and store growth.
