Job summary

Mud Bay is seeking a Store Lead in Bellingham, WA. The role focuses on leading store operations, driving customer-friendly service, and promoting animal health through education and holistic solutions.

The position requires flexibility across 4 locations and weekend scheduling, with base pay starting at $21.04 per hour and a range to $24.20. The Store Lead will supervise daily activities, train staff, manage inventory, and ensure a welcoming, high-quality shopping experience for dog and cat

• Leads, trains, and supports the team to maintain clean, organized, and attractive store areas.
• Maintains inventory through receiving, rotating, restocking, and facing the store.
• Ensures accurate stocking levels and on-hand quantities for a fully stocked store.
• Communicates with the manager and leadership team to support staff development and needs.
• Opens and closes the store, leading the team during the day.
• Comfortable with retail scheduling, including multiple shifts and coverage at several locations.

Mud Bay’s Store Leads are the backbone of Mud Bay. They are empowering, responsible, and committed to growing and helping others develop within Mud Bay.

Competitive base pay: The target starting pay for this position will be at the entry point of the range, at $21.04.

The pay range of $21.04 to $24.20 per hour allows our employees room for growth through annual increases and promotion potential.

When you'd work: This is a full-time position, with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of a median of 32 hours per week. Six days of scheduling flexibility are required, including both weekend days. This position will typically work five days per week, on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. All team members are required to attend a once a month store meeting on Saturday evening.

• Leads, trains, and works with team to ensure accurate stocking levels and quantities on hand to provide a fully stocked and functional store
