Job summary

Harry & David Country Village Store seeks a Key Holder/Sales Associate to join our retail team. The Keyholder acts as a Sales Associate and leads the crew in the absence of a Store Manager, overseeing daily operations and service quality.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, securing assets, assisting with recruitment and coaching, driving sales with passion, maintaining product knowledge, and merchandising. You’ll manage inventory, follow safety policies, and handle POS transactions.

Qualifications

• Retail experience with exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team and oversee day-to-day store operations in the absence of a manager.
• Open and close the store and secure all assets.
• Assist management with recruitment, training, and coaching.
• Drive sales by following guidelines and actively selling with enthusiasm.
• Maintain product knowledge and merchandising according to directives.
• Assist in floor sets, pricing, signage, and promotional activities.
• Participate in inventory and expense management, minimizing waste.
• Follow policies and ensure a safe work environment.
• Ring transactions via POS, upsell add-ons, and promote the Preferred Customer Program.
• Pursue local Business-to-Business sales opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned.
