Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2–3 years of HR and accounting coursework required.
• Hy-Vee experience preferred.
• Strong communication and discretion in personnel matters.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all employee information updates in the Workday time and attendance system.
• Counsel department heads and employees on performance reviews, scheduling, benefits, wages, and personnel matters; serve as Insurance Coordinator and 401(k) Coordinator.
• Develop and manage recruiting and retention programs; facilitate the full hiring process including interviewing, placement, orientation, and training.
• Conduct payroll adjustments, distribute pay-related documents, and prepare wage verifications and leave requests.
• Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.
