Job summary

Athleta in Houston seeks a General Manager to lead a profitable store, drive a best-in-class customer experience, and coach a high-performing team. You will own forecasting, scheduling, budget, and standards while fostering an inclusive, energetic store culture.

In this role, you will collaborate with leadership to deliver growth, coach employees, and ensure operational excellence across Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and Talent Development.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience leading others.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes results and collaborates with leadership to drive KPIs.
• Forecasts and schedules to drive profitable sales.
• Manages store budget for daily operations in support of the P&L.
• Builds productive teams through sourcing, selecting and developing people.
• Coaches and provides feedback to improve performance.
• Teaches and trains to build capabilities.
• Leads execution of SOPs and initiatives.
• Creates an inclusive environment.
• Maximizes efficiencies and productivity through action plans.
• Performs Service Leader duties.
• Represents the brand and understands competitors.
• Promotes community involvement.
• Leverages OMNI to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensures compliance standards are met.
