Job summary

Caribou Coffee in New Berlin, WI seeks a General Manager to lead store operations, optimize financial performance, and foster a culture built on teamwork and guest service.

You will guide scheduling, staff development, and adherence to brand standards while driving sales, controlling costs, and ensuring food safety.

As a hands-on leader, you will motivate a diverse team, partner with cross-functional teams, and uphold Caribou’s purpose of creating day-making experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant, retail or guest service management experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work full-time (47 hours per week) with variable early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn new systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the store is fully staffed for upcoming shifts and maintain up-to-date schedules.
• Build and maintain a high-performing team through goal setting and accountability.
• Provide coaching, feedback and recognition to team members.
• Model and uphold company policies and food safety standards.
• Lead guest experience initiatives and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage store budgets, inventory and operating expenses to drive profitability.
