Job summary

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is seeking a General Manager in California to lead a busy store, drive guest experiences, and mentor the team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage sales, and uphold safety standards while delivering world-class service. We emphasize FROTH values and community engagement as part of our growth culture.

As a GM, you’ll train baristas, optimize scheduling and costs, and collaborate with local partners to build a loyal CBTL fanbase and store profitability.

Responsibilities

• Be a coffee & tea expert and share knowledge with the team and guests.
• Generate new guests by engaging customers in-store and online.
• Care about safety with a focus on a safe store environment for employees and guests.
• Contribute to store profitability by tracking sales and overseeing day-to-day operations and risk management.
• Be Creative with visual merchandising and product placement to create memorable experiences.
• Be an advocate by building store presence and engaging with the local community to attract talent.
• Be a Mentor to the Assistant General Manager and other store staff through knowledge sharing.
