Job summary

Adidas is seeking an experienced Store Manager in Portland, OR, to lead store operations, customer service, and sales performance. You will drive store profitability, manage staff, and uphold brand standards while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Ideal candidates will have a track record in retail leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 4-year college or university degree in business, retail management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 18 months experience working in a sports/fashion customer & commercial focused retail environment with a minimum 12 months of Store Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment, on-boarding, training, and development efforts in the store through partnership with HR, Talent Acquisition and Retail Training.
• Coach, motivate and inspire Assistant Store Managers to accomplish store goals and maximize their individual performance.
• Create a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, analyzing performance, and giving appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poor performance.
• Work with the District Manager to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Stores Career Ladder.
• Deliver best practice implementation to drive the collective performance of all district stores.
