Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a General Manager to lead a store team and deliver a profitable business plan. You will translate brand vision into store execution, drive sales growth, and manage Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

This role focuses on coaching, forecasting, scheduling, budgeting, SOP implementation, and building an inclusive, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience leading others.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Effective communication with customers and employees.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and office; lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Business acumen and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze results, identify opportunities with leadership to drive KPIs.
• Forecast and schedule to drive profitable sales.
• Manage store budget for daily operations supporting the P&L.
• Build productive teams through sourcing, selecting and developing people.
• Coach and give feedback to drive performance.
• Teach and train to build capabilities.
• Lead implementation and execution of SOPs and initiatives.
• Create an inclusive environment.
• Maximize efficiencies and productivity with action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Represent the brand and understand competitors.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage OMNI to deliver frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
