Walmart is seeking a dynamic retail leader for the Strongsville, OH area to drive store performance and team development. You will hire, train, and mentor associates, set clear expectations, and guide operations to deliver exceptional customer service following Walmart’s One Best Way.

The role emphasizes budgeting, scheduling, merchandising, shrink control, and community outreach while building a culture of belonging and integrity.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete job-required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by training and listening to associates.
• Tours stores and provides feedback to improve store operations.
• Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates on store operations.
• Introduces and leads company change efforts and business solutions.
• Models exceptional customer service and follows the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
• Manages budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to align with sales.
• Oversees merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and seasonal transitions.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates.
• Ensures compliance with policies and Open Door Policy and fosters a culture of belonging.
