Dollar General is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations. You will greet customers, stock shelves, operate the cash register, and assist in merchandising plans.

In the absence of store leadership, you may take on lead responsibilities to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, team collaboration, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Retail cashiering and stock experience is desirable.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks according to the store's prescribed process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes following company processes.
• Stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, and build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered merchandise.
• Assist in plan-ogram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Maintain clean front end and assist with sidewalk displays.
