Job summary

CVS Health in Decatur, IN seeks a Shift Supervisor to support store management and drive store execution while delivering outstanding customer service. You will lead staff in the manager’s absence, ensure smooth operations and oversee opening/closing tasks.

The role requires deductive reasoning, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor.
• Assist customers and resolve questions, problems or complaints in line with CVS policy.
• Supervise store crew by directing and following up on activities and communicating with management and staff.
• Price merchandise, stock shelves and manage weekly, promotional and seasonal displays.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed and store standards are maintained.
