Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in Ravenna, OH. The role focuses on customer-first service, cash register operation, stocking, and store cleanliness to maximize profitability and satisfaction.

You will lead by example, assist customers in locating and purchasing items, and cover the Store Manager duties in their absence. Prior supervisory exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and rotate displays; restock shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open/close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager in their absence.
