Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store leadership and provide exemplary customer service. Responsibilities include unloading shipments, stocking, planogram execution, and maintaining a clean, organized store to maximize profitability and minimize losses.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions and handle payments securely.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Stock merchandise and maintain plan-o-grams and displays.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag merchandise.
• Keep store clean and safe, assist customers as needed.
