Job summary

Sur La Table in Ann Arbor is seeking a Store Floor Lead to inspire customers and drive daily store performance. In this leadership role, you will act as MOD, coaching the team, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring an outstanding Guest Obsessed experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of retail management experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for community engagement. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty or culinary retail environment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Represent the brand and culture by creating memorable customer experiences.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
