Job summary

TJ Maxx is seeking a Store Associate to maintain a clean, organized store environment with a focus on floor care. Responsibilities include operating scrubber and buffer, dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning glass and windows; cross-training to support multiple areas.

You will model customer service, uphold safety and loss prevention standards, and work with managers and teammates to meet business needs.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber
• Capable of multi-tasking

• Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors
• Retail customer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate scrubber and buffer to maintain floor cleanliness
• Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows
• Maintain store areas (Sales Floor, Backroom, Restrooms, Lounge) in clean, organized condition
• Adhere to health & safety policies and loss prevention controls
• Cross-train in multiple store areas to support business needs
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates
• Support Front End coverage and store recovery as needed
• Uphold merchandising signage standards and store policies
