Job summary

HomeGoods, part of The TJX Companies, Inc., is hiring a Store Cleaner to maintain a clean and organized store environment, focusing on floor care and window surfaces, while supporting multiple store areas.

You will operate a floor scrubber and buffer, perform dusting, damp and regular mopping, sweeping, and ensure health, safety, and loss prevention standards. Flexibility and strong communication are essential. Starting pay ranges from $12.50 to $13.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with focus on floor care.
• Operate floor scrubber and buffer and perform dust and mopping tasks.
• Adhere to health and safety, loss prevention, and store policies.
• Cross-train to support multiple store areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and associates.
• Support Front End coverage and store recovery as needed.
