Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to support a facilities and asset management team for a Fortune 50 retailer. The role focuses on coordinating store fixtures, finishes, repairs, and asset replacement programs across locations.

Based in Minneapolis, MN, this contract position is hybrid with onsite work one day per week; remote options may apply for non-local candidates. The assignment is 12 months, with hourly wages of $25.00–$30.00 W2, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of project coordination or project management experience supporting multiple concurrent projects through implementation.
• Experience tracking project schedules, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and project completion activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, requests, and follow-up activities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and cross-functional business partners to drive projects to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate project status, document issues, elevate risks, and facilitate resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet for project tracking, reporting, workflow management, and data maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and project execution for store asset management programs.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, deliverables, and business requirements are met.
• Coordinate activities between internal business partners, field teams, and external vendors.
• Track project schedules, risks, issues, and key milestones while providing regular status updates.
• Process and support repair requests, validating scope and coordinating resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
• Review, order, and manage materials and vendor services required for project execution.
• Submit and track purchase orders related to labor, materials, and project expenses.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between corporate teams, field locations, and vendor partners.
• Maintain project documentation, procedures, and field-facing knowledge resources.
• Identify project risks, issue trends, and operational challenges, escalating concerns and recommending solutions as needed.
• Monitor project performance using reporting tools and established metrics.
• Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to store and field teams.
• Ensure prompt and thorough resolution of project and operational issues.
