Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate in New York to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and keep the store clean while delivering exceptional customer service.

Starting wage is $21.00 per hour for a full-time role with 30+ hours per week; wage increases occur in Year 2 to $21.50, Year 3 to $22.00, Year 4 to $22.00, and Year 5 to $23.00. You will work with a team to ensure an efficient checkout and curbside pickup, while maintaining safety and store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries.
• Operate POS system to process purchases and report any scanning issues.
• Stock shelves according to merchandising plan.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support management in achieving efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
