Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a store associate in New York to merchandise and stock, ring up customers at the POS, and maintain a clean, organized store. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver excellent customer service and help run efficient daily operations.

The role includes lifting up to 45 pounds, standing for extended periods, and meeting availability requirements. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour with staged increases through Year 5.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Experience operating store equipment and POS systems is preferred.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic and attention to detail essential.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products according to planograms.
• Cashiering and POS usage with accuracy.
• Open additional checkout lanes as needed.
• Stock shelves and maintain merchandising standards.
• Process curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Support management to achieve efficiency and loss goals.
• Maintain safe, clean store environment and equipment.
