Job summary

ALDI USA in New York is seeking a Store Associate to support merchandising and stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store in top condition. You will enhance the customer shopping experience by working closely with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional service.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with planned increases: Year 2 - $20.50, Year 3 - $21.00, Year 4 - $21.00, Year 5 - $22.00. This is a full-time role averaging 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate POS system and cash registers.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and follow store policies.
• Operate POS system to process purchases and handle transactions.
• Stock shelves and merchandise per planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately for customers.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and store appearance at all times.
• Assist management with loss prevention and inventory procedures.
• Support opening additional lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
