Job summary

Michaels in Newton, MA is seeking a Store Associate to help maintain a clean, welcoming store and assist customers with their shopping needs. You will support checkout, rewards program enrollments, and omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and working nights/weekends. Competitive pay with overtime potential plus access to comprehensive benefits and employee discounts is offered.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain store areas including bathrooms, breakrooms and floors.
• Assist customers and perform checkout duties with standard cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store) and stock/planogram duties.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; ensure safety and compliance.
