Job summary

Michaels in Newton, NJ is hiring a Store Team Member to help customers, stock shelves, and run a smooth checkout. You’ll engage shoppers, enroll them in rewards programs, and support omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift boxes, and move around the store, with a pay range of $16.25 to $19.10 per hour and employee discount benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Provide fast checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in rewards programs and enroll them.
• Assist with omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandising duties.
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Uphold safety and shrink programs; support related initiatives.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Provide general store support as needed.
