Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store team member in Ellicott City, MD to maintain a clean, safe shopping environment and deliver friendly customer service. You will support checkout, rewards enrollments, and Omni channel fulfillment while helping with stocking and store operations.

Ideal candidates have retail/cleaning experience, are able to stand long hours, and follow standard operating procedures. The role is full-time and on-site at Michaels Stores.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and move around the store.
• Understand safety and SOPs, and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and high recovery standards to reflect the brand.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers in-store.
• Assist with checkout, including cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollment.
• Support Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Participate in stocking, truck unloading, and planogram tasks.
